Ray Goodwin

Ray Goodwin is an established multi-instrumentalist who teaches Guitar, Piano, Ukulele, Violin and Bass at Ascending Arts. Ray graduated from the acclaimed Musicians Institute in Los Angeles, California, in 1994, completed the Music Theory program taught at the University of Wisconsin and completed the music theory and composition program at Bellevue College in Washington State. Ray has been teaching guitar, piano, ukulele, violin and bass in the Valley since 1999, has taught over 35,000 lessons and has been working in bands for over 20+ years.
Ray’s bands have opened for many international acts, including Slipknot, Disturbed, Dragonforce, Yngwie Malmsteem, Sevendust, and Five Finger Death Punch. Ray is currently the lead guitarist/violinist in the rock/metal band (SIC)MONIC, published by Warner Chappell Inc., and is distributed worldwide.
Ray has a full endorsement by Jackson/Fender guitars. Ray has released multiple full length rock and metal albums, a solo piano album, has his music featured in a video game series and has released multiple music videos.
