Ascending Arts is a musician's services company founded by AZ musician Ray Goodwin in Phoenix, Arizona. We currently offer services including high quality online music instruction, stringed instrument repairs, professional level instrument set-ups, piano tuning, and music video production. We are here to help aspiring artists, musicians and bands with all resources and capabilities that we have available. At Ascending Arts we welcome all styles of music at all levels, and for all ages.

Lessons

We offer state-of-the-art online music lessons from our incredible Ascending Arts studio. We have the highest quality music equipment and computer capabilites to give the most enhanced musical experience that technology and expertise have to offer. Whether you are a beginner, intermediate, or advanced musician and no matter what style of music you are into, Ascending Arts is here to help you achieve your goals. We welcome all styles, all levels, and all ages. If you are interested in lessons for yourself or someone else, we are here to help guide you on your musical journey with the convenience of online one-on-one lessons.

Our lead teacher and co-owner Ray Goodwin is a guitar virtuoso and Musicians Institute graduate. He has taught over 35,000 lessons and has performed in bands for the past 30 years. Ray is a multi-instrumentalist and teaches guitar, violin, piano, ukulele and music theory.

Instrument Setup and Luthier Services

A properly set-up instrument will perform to the highest possible level. A properly set up instrument is much easier for the musician to play and sounds absolutely incredible.

At Ascending Arts, we have an amazing workshop designed specifically for professional level stringed instrument set-ups and repairs. All set-up and repair work is performed to the highest professional standards and is detailed specific to the individual player and instrument by expert luthier and guitar virtuoso Ray Goodwin.

A properly and professionally set up string instrument will play and sound to the highest possible potential, and will have a greatly increased musical life span.

Piano Tuning

A properly tuned piano sounds beautiful, majestic, and enables for a top quality learning experience. A piano that is properly tuned and maintained will have a greatly increased musical lifespan. For a quality tuning, please feel free to contact Ascending Arts and we will be happy to help!
